NOTICE: As I don't like these primitive "find-the-exit-button"-addon-leves
people often create I made this one quite huge, complex and difficult.
But I hope it's also a fair level because I thought very well about
the position of each enemy and there are no traps or pits where you
can't get out no more! You'll need at least 40 minutes on hard to
fully explore and complete SECBASE. And you need your brain!!!

* Play Information *
----------------
Levels replaced :SECBASE, (TALAY not yet, I'm working on it)
Difficulty Settings :easy & hard (medium is also hard)
New BMs :Yes
New FMEs :No
New WAXs :No
New 3DOs :Yes
New VOCs :Yes
New GMDs :Yes (from mission 2)
Due to the fact that shadows shouldn't be blue but gray the whole level was
made a bit brighter. So if you want to have a nice atmospheric look turn off
the gamma correction in the <ESC>-menu.
* Construction *
------------
Base :new level from scratch
Editor(s) used :DFUSE 0.9 and 1.00
Known Bugs :few graphic problems within cargo box areas and at
personnel lifts (SECBASE)
you need loads of memory 'cos the level is so big!!
(7,760,000 bytes, as recommended for DF; if you
can't afford that much DF crashes during gameplay!)
do not use the options -f, -m, -c0, -l<level>
Time needed :more than 9 weeks (incl. learning the specs)
* Copyright / Permissions *
-----------------------
Authors may NOT use this level as a base to build additional levels.
You MAY distribute this GOB, provided you include this file, with
no modifications. You may distribute this file in any electronic
format (BBS, Diskette, CD, etc) as long as you include this file
intact. And I want a free copy of that diskette or CD.
* How to include these levels? *
----------------------------
Please make sure that none of the following files is within your dark
directory (normally C:\DARK): SECBASE.*, JEDI.LVL, CUTSCENE.LST or TEXT.MSG.
If so move them elsewhere 'cos otherwise it won't work. Really!
Copy HOERBY.GOB into your dark directory, then type: dark -uHOERBY.GOB
Have fun...and tell me via email what you think of it.
* Mission Goals *
-------------
SECBASE: -Escape from your cell (this might be difficult as Outpost D-42
is known for having a very safe detention center!).
-Plant a sequencer charge at the fusion reactor (probably it's
deep down underground).
-Leave the detention area and capture a T/A to search for the
TIE Base that is also located on planet D-42.
big hint: watch the map carefully...

WHAT HAS HAPPENED SO FAR ?
After receiving the Star of Alderaan by Mon Mothma for destroying the Arc
Hammer and thereby putting away an enormous threat to the Rebellion you
leave the Rebel Nebulon B Frigate with your ship, the "Crow". As you lean
back into your pilot armchair some minutes later you are sure that the
autopilot will navigate the "Crow" to Nar Shaddaa where you hope to get a
new job.
But suddenly your ship gets under heavy laser fire and you hear someone's
voice within your headphones. He identifies himself as an Imperial TIE
Advanced pilot, as the leader of T/A Flightgroup Alpha. While your multi
function display reports that your shields are nearly at 0% you recognize
that the attackers are a group of 6 T/As and 3 Assault Gunboats behind you
which must have hyperspaced in very shortly ago because your sensors didn't
tell you about Imperial Starfighters around. Now the TIEs stop firing and
the GUNs change to ion cannon so after a few seconds your system is also
down. T/A Alpha 1 forces you to surrender as he tells you that the Imperial
Shuttle SHU Omega 1 will arrive immediately to board your ship and to take
you as a POW (prisoner of war).
After Omega 1 has boarded the "Crow" and the crew has taken you on board
the Heavy Lifter HLF Iota 1 takes your ship to the Imperial Outpost D-42
on a small planet in the Outer Rim Sector where you are also brought to as
an Imperial Officer tells you briefly. There you will get imprisoned until
Lord Darth Vader himself decides about your fate...
Will you wait this long?...So, may the Force be with you, Kyle!
PS: Why do you have a laser pistol though you are imprisoned? Well, don't
you remember? You stole it from that officer within SHU Omega 1 while
he was busy in reporting Darth Vader about you on the radio.
